Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe avocado in a small bowl until smooth; season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the avocado mixture on one side of the bread, then layer with cooked chicken and cheese.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on the outside of the sandwich halves and place it on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. If using optional ingredients, slice them while the sandwich is baking, then layer them on after removing the sandwich from the oven.
  6. Let cool for 2 minutes, then slice diagonally and serve warm.
