- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Gather equipment including muffin tin and cupcake liners.
- Crush 15 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter and press into the muffin tin.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add sour cream and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Add eggs one at a time.
- Spoon the cheesecake mixture into the muffin cups, filling about three-quarters full. Sprinkle reserved Oreo pieces on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set and centers jiggle slightly. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
- Cool at room temperature for 15 minutes then chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
