Preparation
- In a blender, combine ½ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of white wine vinegar, ¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese, ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of garlic salt, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of American salad blend, ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers, 1 cup chopped firm tomatoes, ½ cup sliced red onion, and ½ cup sliced black olives. Add 1 cup of croutons and ¼ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- Using salad tongs, gently toss the salad ingredients together until everything is well mixed.
- Just before serving, pour the prepared dressing over the salad mix and toss again.
- Transfer the dressed salad to a large serving bowl or individual plates and garnish as desired.
