Method
 

Crinkle Cookies Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture slowly until a thick dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough, add gel food coloring as desired, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough in powdered sugar and place them on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until tops crack and edges are set. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring.
