  4. Add Flavorings: Stir in minced garlic and maple syrup, followed by all-purpose flour; deglaze the pot with dry red wine.
  5. Create Braising Liquid: Pour in the beef stock, bay leaf, and fresh rosemary, simmering until combined.
  6. Braise Roast: Return the roast to the pot, cover, and braise in a preheated oven at 300°F for 3-4 hours.
  7. Check Tenderness: After 3 hours, check if the roast is fork-tender; if not, continue cooking.
  8. Rest and Serve: Remove the roast from the oven, let it rest in the sauce for 10-15 minutes before shredding and serving.
