- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and lay flat on a clean towel.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, large egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- In your greased baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the final meat sauce layer.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
