Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9.5 x 5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and sauté diced onions for about 10 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic for 2 more minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled onion-garlic mixture with the whites of green onions, gochujang, eggs, and salt, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, gently mix the ground pork and panko, then fold in the flavorful base and green onion greens.
  5. Pack the meat mixture into the prepared pan, shaping the top smooth without compressing it tightly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
  7. While baking, whisk together apricot jam, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar for the glaze.
  8. After the first baking period, spread the glaze over the meatloaf and return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until it reaches 160°F (71°C).
  9. Let the meatloaf rest for about 5 minutes, then slice and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
