Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper and lightly brush it with extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Toast the untoasted sesame seeds in a nonstick pan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously until golden brown.
  3. Warm the honey in the pan until it bubbles and thickens slightly, around 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the toasted sesame seeds to the bubbling honey and stir for about 5 minutes until well coated.
  5. Quickly pour the mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and flatten it out evenly using parchment or a rolling pin.
  6. Allow the candy to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes, then cut into bars or squares.
