Preparation Steps
- Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper and lightly brush it with extra virgin olive oil.
- Toast the untoasted sesame seeds in a nonstick pan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously until golden brown.
- Warm the honey in the pan until it bubbles and thickens slightly, around 3-4 minutes.
- Add the toasted sesame seeds to the bubbling honey and stir for about 5 minutes until well coated.
- Quickly pour the mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and flatten it out evenly using parchment or a rolling pin.
- Allow the candy to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes, then cut into bars or squares.

Store the cooled candy in an airtight container. It lasts up to a week at room temperature, or can be refrigerated for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze and thaw before enjoying.
